Base Salary

$139k - $204k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead advanced penetration-testing engagements across on-premises and cloud application portfolios.
  • Create sophisticated attack plans to identify vulnerabilities and provide detailed remediation guidance to development teams.
  • Build and operate agentic AI workflows to scale security testing across complex system architectures.
  • Make risk-based security decisions and promote a proactive security culture.
  • Develop and maintain custom security tooling.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve long-term security maturity and mentor team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of related experience, master’s degree plus 4 years, or PhD plus 1 year in application-level penetration testing.
  • Offensive security experience spanning web applications, mobile applications, networks, and distributed systems.
  • Technical understanding of common vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and remediation strategies.
  • Experience with AWS and GCP.
  • Ability to develop and maintain custom tooling using Python or Bash.
  • Preferred: security research publications, CVEs, open-source projects, or bug-bounty recognition.
  • Preferred: experience with C++, JavaScript, Python, Go, Splunk, or similar large-scale data platforms.
  • Preferred: experience building cross-functional engineering relationships, mentoring team members, and providing constructive technical feedback.

Benefits

  • Remote role.
  • Starting salary range of $139,300.00 to $203,600.00 for U.S. and/or Canada locations, excluding incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
