Responsibilities

Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software build, testing, and deployment.
Create and manage automation for software build, deployment, and configuration processes.
Evaluate and implement tools and technologies that improve development and deployment efficiency.
Manage and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure GCP infrastructure.
Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, Deployment Manager, and related tools.
Develop monitoring solutions with Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
Identify and resolve system performance, reliability, scalability, build, deployment, and outage issues.
Implement infrastructure and application deployment security best practices and support regulatory compliance.
Provide support to development and operations teams and participate in an on-call rotation for critical incidents.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Experience with GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Operations Suite.
Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or Ruby scripting.
Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef configuration management tools.
In-depth knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies.
Hands-on experience with Git or another version control system.
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment concepts and tools.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Current or expired certification in at least one listed GCP associate or professional certification track, including Cloud Engineer, Cloud Architect, Cloud Developer, Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Security Engineer, or Cloud Network Engineer.
