Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and scale automated validation and release-gating pipelines for off-board mapping and cloud software components.
- Define automated test strategies, metrics, and quality gates for component-level and framework-level validation.
- Triage build and pipeline failures, establish regression test suites, and collaborate with downstream teams on release readiness.
- Analyze large datasets and design triage logic and reporting processes to highlight key issues.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation frameworks, and automated gating for cloud or off-board software systems is preferred.
- Experience building test automation to validate cloud software.
- Currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. program in a relevant discipline.
- Available for a minimum three-month assignment and at least 40 hours per week.
- Able to work on-site at one of the company’s office locations.
- Must comply with Zoox confidentiality requirements regarding proprietary company information.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages and AI development tools such as Cursor or Claude is a bonus.
