Base Salary
$112k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret requirements, verify assumptions, incorporate feedback, and address design or solution issues.
- Participate in system design, architecture, estimation, and design documentation for project components.
- Develop, implement, maintain, debug, and troubleshoot software products, services, and components.
- Participate in code reviews and apply coding standards, patterns, guidelines, and best practices.
- Create and execute test plans and testing procedures to identify and resolve software defects.
- Respond to support requests during on-call rotations and deploy fixes under guidance.
- Maintain and improve software availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, QA, operations, compliance, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience developing or implementing web-based or mobile applications.
- Experience with system design and architecture for product components.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting software issues.
- Experience with code review and applying coding standards.
- Experience planning and executing tests for software features.
- Experience responding to support requests and deploying fixes.
- Experience using software developer tools for code creation and maintenance.
- Preferred: 3 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or more than 2 years with an advanced degree.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of experience building and testing enterprise-scale web services.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of experience on client-facing projects or technical teams.
- Preferred: experience integrating feedback into designs and solution fixes.
- Preferred: experience mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
