Base Salary
$153k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Extend Circle’s blockchain systems infrastructure to support tokenization.
- Build and own scalable microservices and reliable APIs for transferring value and assets across blockchain and traditional banking protocols.
- Design and develop publicly accessible APIs and integrate platform services with banks and financial technologies.
- Design, test, document, and maintain scalable production-quality software, system procedures, testing procedures, and quality standards.
- Work with SQL or NoSQL data sources, messaging systems, and APIs to deliver payment experiences.
- Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions and restore normal functioning.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams and provide technical leadership on architecture and system design.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience in object-oriented languages such as Java and Go.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience technically leading teams of 2–4 people on architecture and system design.
- Experience with payment systems such as credit cards and bank transfers.
- Understanding of RESTful API design and development principles.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with SQL databases and schema design.
- Proven ability to design and deploy production-quality, scalable software.
- Commitment to coding standards, code quality, and strong test coverage.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including working with remote teams and presenting concepts.
