Base Salary
$153k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Extend Circle’s in-house blockchain systems infrastructure to support tokenization.
- Build and own scalable microservices and reliable, secure APIs for transferring value and assets across blockchain and traditional banking protocols.
- Design, test, document, and improve Circle features, system procedures, testing procedures, and quality standards.
- Build publicly accessible APIs that simplify developer integration with complex payment systems.
- Integrate platform services with banks and financial technologies.
- Develop infrastructure using SQL or NoSQL data sources, messaging systems, and APIs.
- Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions and restore normal system operation.
- Technically lead teams of two to four people on architecture and system design.
Requirements
- At least six years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in object-oriented languages such as Java and Go.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with payment systems such as credit cards and bank transfers.
- Broad understanding of RESTful API design and development principles.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with SQL databases and schema design.
- Proven experience designing and deploying production-quality, scalable software.
- Commitment to coding standards, code quality, and strong test coverage.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with remote teams and presenting concepts.
- Ability to work independently, move quickly, and continuously improve software.
