Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and troubleshoot firmware for allocated embedded control functions.
- Design control algorithms and understand related hardware, embedded-system diagrams, and DSP/MCU architectures.
- Define firmware test specifications, support product testing, review test results, and provide support throughout the product lifecycle.
- Work with engineering and testing teams to define product specifications and test plans.
- Produce technical documentation including drawings and component specifications.
- Collaborate with technical support to resolve field issues and provide customer technical support.
- Analyze specific applications and provide active service support.
- Contribute to code reviews, team performance improvement, and clear information flow among team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience designing control algorithms using Simulink/MATLAB, including PID regulators, Clarke and Park transforms, digital filtering, and hardware-in-the-loop.
- Good knowledge of C for DSP real-time system architectures, Git/GitLab, TortoiseSVN, and DSP/MCU architecture, preferably TI-oriented.
- Preferred knowledge of CAN bus, I2C, SPI, serial communication protocols, PWM, ADC converters, laboratory instruments, and electronic power converters.
- A university master’s degree in Software or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent qualification/experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in equivalent areas such as UPS, inverters, power converters, or low-voltage electrical distribution is a plus.
- Good knowledge of PLM and related processes.
- Strong planning, communication, teamwork, customer orientation, and English-language skills.
- Availability to travel.
Benefits

- Anticipated gross annual salary range of €41,000 to €52,000.
