Responsibilities
- Scope and implement abuse monitoring requirements for new product launches.
- Improve monitoring operations for existing products and automate monitoring subtasks.
- Prototype and mature production systems for abuse detection, review, and enforcement.
- Collaborate with Product, Policy, Operations, Investigative, and Engineering teams to understand risks and build scaled tooling.
- Respond to and investigate critical escalations not caught by existing safety systems.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to resolve urgent escalations outside normal work hours.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in technical analysis and detection, especially using SQL and Python.
- Experience in trust and safety or close collaboration with policy, enforcement, and engineering teams.
- Experience with basic data engineering, including building core tables or production data pipelines.
- Experience with machine learning principles and execution.
- Basic software development skills are a plus because the role writes productionized code.
- Experience scaling and automating processes, especially with language models.
- An investigative mindset and ability to work with sensitive content are important for the role.
