Responsibilities
- Modernize the profit-and-loss reporting platform for finance, management, and investment stakeholders.
- Design scalable data pipelines and reconciliation workflows for critical finance data.
- Build analytical applications, reporting capabilities, validation tools, and adjustment workflows.
- Create visualizations and user interfaces for investigating trends, exceptions, and performance drivers.
- Own features through design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and ongoing refinement.
- Analyze data flows and calculation logic while improving data quality, operational reliability, and process controls.
- Collaborate with controllers, valuation specialists, and technology colleagues to translate business needs into software.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of programming experience with training in computer science or a related technical field.
- Strong data engineering, analytics, ETL, and reconciliation skills using T-SQL, Python, and Airflow.
- Strong software development skills using Python or C#.
- Experience designing, developing, supporting, and coordinating users for end-to-end systems.
- Strong data visualization and front-end development skills using JavaScript and React.
- Ability to build systems with high standards for numerical accuracy, data quality, and operational reliability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach.
