Responsibilities
- Build and maintain core smart contract frameworks and libraries.
- Manage smart contract release lifecycles from architecture through audit and post-release maintenance.
- Research novel smart contract functionality beyond the EVM.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, researchers, product managers, and operations teammates to develop products.
- Architect and implement core protocol functionality, libraries, tooling, and adjacent prototypes.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Solidity and at least one other non-smart-contract programming language.
- Deep understanding of the EVM and differences across L1, L2, and L3 environments.
- Familiarity with network node architectures including geth, reth, op-stack, and orbit.
- Experience participating in smart contract code audits as a maintainer or auditor.
- Mastery of general software engineering principles and smart contract engineering.
- Experience with alternative, non-EVM-based execution environments is an extra qualification.
- Past contributions to or maintenance of open-source projects are an extra qualification.
- Strong written communication, collaboration, and autonomous working abilities.
