Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with developers to identify product defects and improve serviceability.
- Analyze customer data to mitigate risks and improve product reliability.
- Partner with technology allies to resolve issues collaboratively.
- Create and expand internal and external knowledge bases.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Gather customer feedback and collaborate with development teams on product enhancements.
- Provide rotational weekday and off-hours support coverage.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in Systems Reliability Engineering or similar roles.
- Strong troubleshooting expertise in virtualization, preferably VMware ESXi, networking across layers 2 and 3, Linux systems, DevOps, cloud, or enterprise storage.
- Experience directly resolving complex technical issues with customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop tools and improve knowledge bases.
- Familiarity with VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft technologies.
- An Engineering or Computer Science degree is preferred.
- A customer-driven mindset focused on high-quality support experiences.
