Base Salary
$133k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and design application systems powering complex industrial and robotic equipment.
- Develop, test, debug, and deliver C/C++ software for machine control on real-time operating systems.
- Work with multidisciplinary mechanical, electrical, software, and field engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Debug software on physical machines in a laboratory environment and resolve field issues.
- Mentor new and junior developers.
- Use build automation, version control, and software development processes to support delivery.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in C/C++ development, debugging, testing, and system profiling.
- Knowledge of software architecture and experience developing complex multi-process system architectures.
- Strong understanding of real-time operating systems and real-time software constraints.
- Experience with interrupts, inter-process communication, multi-threading, object-oriented design, socket programming, and network communication.
- Experience developing on Linux or QNX.
- Experience with CMake build processes, build automation, Git, and branching strategies.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Desirable qualifications include Qt/QML, computer vision, image processing, object recognition, AI/ML integration, applied mathematics, computational geometry, device driver development, motion control, and embedded x86 software development.
