Responsibilities
- Develop applications using Java 17 and above.
- Write unit tests, end-to-end tests, and stress tests.
- Implement software according to system designs and coding standards with senior supervision.
- Review code from peer developers.
- Participate in analysis, design, implementation, and testing throughout the development lifecycle.
- Use AI daily in software engineering work.
- Contribute ideas and participate in team discussions and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Currently be finishing a BSc or MSc degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field at an accredited school; the qualifications also list an MSc degree in a related field.
- Have knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming and willingness to learn modern Java, asynchronous programming, and unit testing.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Preferred qualifications include experience using AI for software engineering, communication and knowledge-sharing skills, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, or optical telecommunications technologies.
