Base Salary
$147k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own feature areas end to end, from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment, and post-launch monitoring.
- Design, build, and ship reliable, scalable, secure, and performant features across the OIG system.
- Deliver bug fixes and resolve customer-reported issues.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and uphold high engineering quality standards.
- Partner with product development, QA, and Site Reliability Engineering teams on development and deployment.
- Drive technical alignment across teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with independent ownership of complex production features.
- Experience architecting and delivering large-scale distributed systems for enterprise customers.
- Deep expertise in microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs, and data modeling at scale.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Go, or equivalent JVM/cloud-native languages.
- Experience designing systems for enterprise reliability, scalability, and security, including multi-tenancy, high availability, audit logging, and RBAC/ABAC.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Preferred experience with identity, access management, or governance products; workflow or approval systems; enterprise SaaS; cloud infrastructure; and observability tooling.
