Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain AI-assisted engineering utilities for repository indexing, code summarization, dependency extraction, log parsing, and documentation generation.
- Configure AI development environments and support prompt testing, model-output comparison, and repeatable software development workflow documentation.
- Create scripts and lightweight services integrating Git repositories, CI/CD logs, issue trackers, documentation stores, and internal model endpoints.
- Prepare codebase summaries, service notes, build observations, glossary entries, handover materials, and structured evidence templates.
- Test approved open-source, open-weight, Chinese coding, and internally approved models and document their strengths, limitations, risks, and practical usage guidance.
- Review AI-generated outputs with senior engineers, correct inaccuracies, and improve workflow quality over time.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps automation, data engineering, AI tooling, or platform-adjacent development roles.
- Good Python skills and willingness to work across APIs, scripting, developer tooling, documentation, testing, and lightweight automation services.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI coding assistants, prompt engineering, LLM APIs, local model experimentation, or RAG-style development is strongly preferred.
- Basic understanding of Git, CI/CD, Linux, containers, cloud platforms, and software architecture documentation.
- Readiness to deepen OpenStack knowledge and work carefully in a confidential enterprise environment.
- Strong documentation habits, curiosity, quality discipline, structured communication, and willingness to escalate unclear findings rather than over-trusting AI-generated answers.
