Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain functionality within the OpenLink Endur platform.
- Design, build, and support integrated applications for Front, Middle, and Back Office teams using Java and OpenComponents.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, and database solutions.
- Gather requirements and deliver solutions with business and technical stakeholders.
- Participate across the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and release management.
- Design and implement automated testing and deployment solutions.
- Produce technical documentation, solution designs, user guides, and support documentation.
- Investigate and resolve production issues while maintaining system stability and performance.
Requirements
- Experience in commodities, energy trading, or financial services environments.
- Understanding of energy trading, risk management, straight-through processing, and operational processes.
- Strong experience developing and supporting solutions within the OpenLink Endur platform.
- Hands-on experience with OpenLink development technologies, including JVS and/or OpenComponents with Java.
- Strong Java development and enterprise application integration experience.
- Solid database development expertise using Oracle PL/SQL.
- Experience supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining production trading systems.
- Experience across multiple software development lifecycle phases, including analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and build effective relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
