Responsibilities
- Develop, test, validate, document, and hand over Cell Voltage Monitoring software.
- Develop and validate turbine Variable Guide Vane control strategies and air-module flow-meter algorithms.
- Support component, subsystem, bench, laboratory, and hardware-in-the-loop validation activities.
- Maintain bench-test equipment and test-rig control systems.
- Investigate controller behavior and software performance issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Capture, analyze, trace, and elaborate software requirements for monitor-lane and test-rig control systems.
- Manage DFMEA actions and derive software requirements from engineering risk assessments.
- Collaborate with systems, controls, software, and test engineers to deliver validated solutions.
Requirements
- Experience developing embedded or control-system software.
- Proficiency in C programming, software debugging, testing, validation, and integration.
- Experience working with control algorithms and Simulink models.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and software verification activities.
- Experience supporting test rigs, bench testing, or laboratory-based engineering programs.
- Ability to manage and trace software requirements through development and testing.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or equivalent military experience.
- Desirable qualifications include Cell Voltage Monitoring, DFMEA, requirements derivation, flow measurement systems, control valves, model-based development, clean energy, automotive, aerospace, industrial engineering, or hardware-in-the-loop experience.
