Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce application security architecture frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices.
- Review and approve application security designs and promote secure software development and architecture.
- Integrate security into the software development lifecycle and enable DevSecOps practices.
- Conduct threat modeling, security reviews, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Evaluate, recommend, and oversee application security tools and testing solutions including SAST, DAST, and IAST.
- Define application security strategies, including IAM, and implement principles such as Zero Trust.
- Collaborate with IT, enterprise architecture, DevOps, engineering, development, and security teams.
- Contribute to the corporate information security architecture community by sharing insights and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in an application security architecture role.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards including ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Expertise in OWASP, SSDLC, DevSecOps, and secure software architecture.
- Strong understanding of microservices security, API security, and IAM, including OAuth, SAML, and JWT.
- Knowledge of cloud-native security, CI/CD integration, container security, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- CISSP, SABSA, and cloud certifications are preferred.
- Fluent English is required; German and French are additional advantages.
