Responsibilities
- Participate in technical projects and complete assigned tasks supporting team objectives.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support engineering decisions.
- Attend planning meetings and learn project requirements, timelines, and team goals.
- Perform hands-on technical assignments and apply learning from experienced team members.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support best-practice implementation.
- Participate in mentoring, workshops, and cross-functional learning activities.
Requirements
- Be a sophomore, junior, or senior in college or technical school with at least six months remaining until graduation after the internship.
- Be currently enrolled in a university or college program pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Have strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, collaborative, and detail-oriented skills.
- Have strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred qualifications include prior technical or engineering internship experience, aerospace and defense familiarity, basic knowledge of CAD or MATLAB, Microsoft Access skills, and an engineering-related degree.
