Responsibilities
- Manage large software engineering projects and systems to optimize performance, responsiveness, and resource utilization.
- Analyze, design, program, debug, test, and modify software applications and enhancements.
- Define system requirements with product managers and users and participate in software design meetings.
- Drive new feature development and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level technical team members.
- Influence technology direction, policies, practices, and procedures while solving complex problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience and recognized subject matter expertise in a technical field.
- Proficiency with .NET Core, Angular, MVC, API development, and SQL Server.
- Python experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of financial services, end-to-end software development life cycles, design patterns, and their application.
- Understanding of GenAI and Agentic AI and the ability to use them to improve productivity and quality.
- Ability to estimate work for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure successful completion.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, time-management, persuasion, and influencing skills.
