Responsibilities
- Create software test strategies across one or more projects.
- Define test conditions, sequences, and phases for test operations.
- Execute operational, functional, performance, and system-level tests.
- Set up test environments and execute manual tests.
- Architect, implement, and report on test automation frameworks.
- Analyze and interpret test data and prepare technical reports, test reports, risk reports, and defect reports.
- Write and report the status of system tests.
- Collaborate with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve testing problems, malfunctions, incomplete data, and data interpretation issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering.
- At least three years of related work experience.
- Experience with Agile software testing or Agile software development methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with test environments, manual testing, and test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong coding skills in JavaScript and TypeScript; experience with C++ 17 or newer and Python.
- Experience analyzing test results and producing test, risk, and defect reports.
- Background in software and hardware integration.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Must possess a Secret clearance or be eligible to obtain one; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Familiarity with Atlassian Tools Suite, GitLab, Docker, Podman, PostgreSQL, Postman, Linux, REST API testing, and formal test plans and procedures is desired.
- Experience with system-level testing of radars or emitters is desired.
