Base Salary

$102k - $261k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions.
  • Perform system design, code reviews, integration testing, troubleshooting, and optimization across multiple components.
  • Build services that are modular, secure, reliable, diagnosable, monitored, reusable, and maintainable.
  • Improve test coverage and determine when code is ready to ship.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for Live Site.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teammates to deliver cohesive, data-driven customer and partner experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
  • Preferred: a master’s degree with 3+ years of technical engineering experience or a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: 2+ years designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems with knowledge of authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding.
  • Preferred: 2+ years building and operating scalable, highly available cloud services or distributed systems with production ownership, CI/CD integration, and automated testing.
  • Preferred: experience building or integrating AI/ML-powered systems or workflows, including model-output handling, orchestration, or agent-based systems.
