Responsibilities
- Build and ship new iOS experiences showcasing AI capabilities.
- Optimize app performance, reliability, and responsiveness at scale.
- Design and maintain shared iOS frameworks for account and commerce flows.
- Establish robust testing frameworks and refine app architecture.
- Collaborate with product, design, research, and backend teams.
- Provide technical leadership for OpenAI’s iOS platform.
Requirements
- Up to 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven track record of building high-quality iOS applications.
- Experience owning complex, business-critical mobile systems end-to-end.
- Deep understanding of architectural tradeoffs on iOS.
- Fluency in Swift and familiarity with the Apple development ecosystem.
- Strong focus on performance, security, and user experience.
