Senior Lead Architect: Information Architecture

Responsibilities
- Represent a product family in technical governance bodies and recommend improvements to architecture governance practices.
- Contribute to architecture designs and reviews with a focus on data governance and data management.
- Oversee CCB Risk data governance practices and tooling.
- Interpret and drive the firm-wide Data Product initiative within CCB Risk.
- Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to curate and advance CCB Risk Data Strategy.
- Support adoption of shared data capabilities including metadata generation, interoperability, data quality, and observability.
- Provide technical guidance to business teams, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate architecture analysis and decision-making with human validation and sensitive-data controls.
- Drive decisions affecting product design, application functionality, technical operations, and processes.
- Establish reusable AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across SDLC and toolchain practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in architecture concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience.
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience or a major role in technology implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of information architecture, data lineage, data management, data governance, and data quality.
- Working knowledge of data catalogs, data modeling, and meta-modeling.
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and deep expertise in software architecture, applications, and technical processes.
- Experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in architecture and engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Strong communication, collaboration, judgment, and independent problem-solving skills.
- Preferred knowledge of metadata management, data integration, data migration, the Databricks Lakehouse ecosystem, AWS Cloud services, advanced SQL, Erwin, and MagicDraw.
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies and recommend future-state architecture solutions.
