Base Salary
$149k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship high-quality front-end and back-end features across the stack.
- Develop new products and improve established products while balancing user experience, performance, and architecture quality.
- Own projects end to end from ideation and technical design through implementation, testing, launch, and iteration.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Research, and Data to shape product direction and strategy.
- Operate, monitor, and continuously improve systems with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability.
- Mentor teammates and contribute to engineering culture through code reviews, design critiques, and pairing.
Requirements
- Proven experience shipping and maintaining full-stack applications in production.
- Strong proficiency with modern front-end frameworks such as React and TypeScript and back-end technologies such as Ruby, Python, Go, C++, and PostgreSQL.
- Ability to translate user needs into scalable technical solutions with a product mindset.
- Experience collaborating effectively across Product, Design, Research, and Data.
- Passion for building polished, maintainable, and scalable systems.
- Experience leading large-scale projects or launching 0-to-1 products is a plus.
- Familiarity with C++ and WebAssembly in user-facing applications is a plus.
- Background in growth engineering, developer tooling, billing and payments infrastructure, or extensibility platforms is a plus.
- Exposure to Stripe, Salesforce, Snowflake, SCIM, SAML, or experimentation and observability tooling is a plus.
- Mentoring peers and helping shape engineering culture is a plus.
