Responsibilities

  • Assist senior software engineers with designing, developing, and testing application features and internal tools.
  • Write, review, and debug code under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
  • Document technical designs, test results, and manuals.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage assigned backlog tasks.
  • Troubleshoot software issues and support root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with electrical, controls, and hardware engineers on cross-functional projects and lab testing.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled and working toward a bachelor's or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline at an ABET-accredited university or college.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Proficiency in Python, Angular, and/or JavaScript is a plus.
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication, independent-work, work ethic, and attention-to-detail skills.
