Responsibilities
- Assist senior software engineers with designing, developing, and testing application features and internal tools.
- Write, review, and debug code under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
- Document technical designs, test results, and manuals.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage assigned backlog tasks.
- Troubleshoot software issues and support root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with electrical, controls, and hardware engineers on cross-functional projects and lab testing.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and working toward a bachelor's or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline at an ABET-accredited university or college.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Python, Angular, and/or JavaScript is a plus.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication, independent-work, work ethic, and attention-to-detail skills.
