Base Salary
$134k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and development of software solutions.
- Analyze business processes and create technical requirements for assigned processes, tasks, and workflows.
- Develop solutions from technical specifications, including manual and automated unit testing where needed.
- Collaborate independently with multiple onshore and offshore teams to develop financial banking solutions.
- Mentor junior developers.
- Support all phases of the development lifecycle, including off-hours production deployments and creation of deployment artifacts for audits.
- Create custom Empower screens and plugins, build Orchestration Engine tasks, and update Empower workflow models across multiple lending channels.
- Develop and troubleshoot APIs, interface with third-party services, and support SQL relational databases.
- Configure control and user security and build solutions compliant with TRID, RESPA, and HMDA requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Applications, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- At least 3 years of software development experience with the Empower Loan Origination System in or for the financial services industry.
- Experience coding in C# and JavaScript.
- Experience managing code in Team Foundation Server, including resolving merge conflicts.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries to troubleshoot issues and supporting a SQL relational database.
- Experience creating custom Empower screens and plugins and building Orchestration Engine tasks.
- Experience interfacing with third-party services and designing and updating Empower workflow models across multiple lending channels.
- Experience configuring control and user security and developing and troubleshooting RESTful APIs.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum methodologies and developing software compliant with TRID, RESPA, and HMDA regulations.

- The position is based in Glen Allen, Virginia, with a schedule of 40 hours per week from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; off-hour production deployments may be required.
