Responsibilities
- Organize assigned work, provide project estimates, perform risk assessments, and plan validation activities.
- Analyze complex projects and derive testing strategies from architecture diagrams, flow diagrams, and design mocks.
- Develop automated, functional integration, and end-to-end tests for enterprise applications and systems.
- Lead testing strategies across multiple business areas and application teams.
- Identify software validation risks and mitigation strategies and communicate status to IT and business stakeholders.
- Manage quality processes throughout the software lifecycle and support medium- and large-sized requests with minimal oversight.
- Mentor junior SQA analysts and participate in interviews for junior-level hires.
- Collaborate with business analysts, software developers, operations, IT teams, and vendors.
- Support the use of AI software tools and techniques in automation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 6 years of software test automation experience required.
- Preferred: 6 or more years of software development lifecycle methodologies, standards, and practices experience.
- Preferred: 6 or more years of advanced experience with management or document repository tools such as Jira, ALM, and Zephyr.
- Preferred: 6 or more years of advanced experience with IDEs and programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, C#, and VB Script.
- Preferred: 6 or more years of advanced experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, UFT, Cucumber, and TestNG.
- Preferred: 6 or more years of advanced experience with API testing tools such as PostMan and RestAssure.
- Preferred: 6 or more years of advanced experience writing SQL queries.
- Strong written and verbal communication, project management, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple projects, and work collaboratively in team environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Benefits
- Full-time, exempt salaried position on a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.
- Hybrid schedule with at least three in-office days per week in Durham for applicants living within 35 miles of the location.
