Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Extend Hazel’s action layer and build safe human-in-the-loop scaffolding for system write operations.
- Develop full-stack product features across TypeScript, React, and Go services.
- Build AI agent workflows involving streaming LLM responses, multi-step tool use, and approvals.
- Create and maintain integrations that read from and write to Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, Amazon, and other systems.
- Own product development directly with founders and customers, shipping code used by operators.
- Optimize APIs through query optimization, schema design, and selecting appropriate tools for workloads.
Requirements
- Experience shipping a production LLM feature to real users.
- Experience owning an API at scale, including query optimization and schema design.
- Strong TypeScript experience.
- Ability to use coding agents effectively and evaluate where they help or hurt development.
- Strong focus on product ergonomics and user experience.
- Founder experience or an aspiring-founder mindset.
