Base Salary
$218k - $388k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and architect international e-commerce logistics and supply-chain systems for warehousing, inventory, suppliers, and related services.
- Design scalable business and system architectures for international e-commerce needs.
- Solve high-concurrency and performance-bottleneck problems in business processes.
- Design and implement fault-tolerant, distributed, low-latency backend workflow orchestration architecture.
- Maintain system quality, stability, and technical performance.
- Manage databases supporting online services.
- Work across requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on programmed code.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, plus four years of related work experience.
- An additional two years of related work experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree.
- At least two years of experience designing and architecting large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using object-oriented design and distributed programming.
- At least two years of experience designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed, and low-latency backend workflow orchestration architecture.
- At least two years of experience maintaining and debugging software services.
- At least two years of experience across the software development lifecycle for backend and/or cloud-native projects.
- At least two years of experience designing and managing databases using MySQL or Redis.
- At least two years of experience providing peer review and feedback on programmed code.
