Base Salary
$120k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain DevOps tools including GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, and SonarQube.
- Implement and support platforms for containerized applications using AWS managed services such as EKS.
- Implement, develop, and use CI/CD pipelines.
- Recommend technology direction aligned with business objectives.
- Apply software engineering knowledge and modern practices across projects.
- Design, deploy, and support automation and scripting solutions to improve capabilities, visibility, and efficiency.
- Work across teams to understand business requirements and provide solutions using AWS services.
- Support debugging, troubleshooting, log searching, monitoring, alarming, and dashboarding.
Requirements
- US citizenship and the ability to obtain a federal government clearance.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong foundation in Kubernetes and experience supporting containerized workloads in AWS.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Basic understanding of networking setup, debugging, troubleshooting, and log searching.
- Understanding of metrics, monitoring, alarming, and dashboarding concepts.
- Preferred: strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and/or distributed systems.
- Preferred: Associate or Professional level AWS certifications.
- Preferred: CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Preferred: experience with US Federal or Department of Defense customers.
