Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines across the GE ADMS Series 6 program.
- Automate build, test, deployment, and release processes to improve delivery speed and quality.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Develop Ansible playbooks for server provisioning, configuration management, and environment standardization.
- Create Python scripts and automation tooling for operational and deployment tasks.
- Manage artifact repositories and support versioning, deployment tracking, release management, and rollback strategies.
- Administer GitHub repositories, pull request workflows, branching strategies, and code integration processes.
- Translate operational requirements from utility stakeholders and engineering teams into scalable automated solutions.
- Coordinate with network and cybersecurity teams on secure infrastructure connectivity and compliance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, infrastructure automation, or a related field; approximately 2 years of highly relevant experience is also considered.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline-as-code practices.
- Practical Terraform experience for cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Working experience with Ansible for configuration management, server provisioning, and application automation.
- Strong Python scripting skills for automation, tooling, or deployment optimization.
- Understanding of GitHub workflows, branching, pull request management, and collaborative code integration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps security practices, secrets management, pipeline hardening, infrastructure compliance scanning, and Chef.
- Preferred familiarity with microservices, Agile delivery environments, GE ADMS systems, utilities, energy management, smart grids, or critical infrastructure.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is helpful.
