Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement products for Fidelity’s Equity Technology Research division.
- Build backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and API development practices.
- Develop frontend applications using Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Participate in testing, code reviews, secure development, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Support AWS cloud technologies, production operations, and incident resolution.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle and collaborate in technical discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent technology field.
- At least 3 years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, API development, Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with testing frameworks, quality engineering, and secure development practices.
- Experience or familiarity with production support and incident resolution.
- At least 2 years of experience with or familiarity with AWS cloud technologies such as EC2, S3, Lambda, or CloudWatch.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.
- Familiarity with generative AI coding practices and strong communication and collaboration skills.
