Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement products for Fidelity’s Equity Technology Research division.
- Build backend services using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and API development.
- Develop frontend functionality using Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Participate in testing, code reviews, secure development, deployment, and continuous improvement activities.
- Provide production support and contribute to incident resolution.
- Work across the full software development lifecycle and contribute to technical discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent technology field.
- At least 3 years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Demonstrated backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and API development.
- Demonstrated frontend experience with Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with testing frameworks, quality engineering, and secure development practices.
- At least 2 years of experience or familiarity with AWS cloud technologies, including EC2, S3, Lambda, or CloudWatch.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.
- Familiarity with generative AI coding practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, prioritization, and software development skills.
