Base Salary
$87k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assist with implementing full-stack and AI-driven software components within the cloud platform.
- Develop and support backend services, APIs, and microservices for cloud-native applications.
- Contribute to frontend development, modern user experiences, and scalable application features.
- Design, deploy, automate, and manage infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance Terraform scripts for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation initiatives.
- Participate in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaborative Agile delivery.
- Apply cloud security, scalability, reliability, and observability best practices.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Practical experience with React or Angular, Java with Spring Boot, and Python.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and REST API development principles.
- Exposure to JUnit or comparable testing frameworks.
- Interest in or academic exposure to AI concepts including LangChain, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, prompt engineering, and large language models.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, cloud services, Terraform, infrastructure as code, and cloud automation.
- Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins.
- Exposure to Ansible is an asset.
- Understanding of scalability, performance, reliability, security, troubleshooting, and clean testable code practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and willingness to learn.
