Base Salary
$130k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop iOS software for Taco Bell’s eCommerce engineering team at significant scale.
- Architect robust, scalable, secure solutions aligned with current and future business needs.
- Optimize application performance, improve load times, and debug issues including ANRs and layout delays.
- Set technical standards through code quality, design patterns, documentation, and architectural practices.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and AI implementation in engineering tooling.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to platform modernization and scaled feature delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of iOS development experience.
- Strong understanding of Swift, SwiftUI, iOS SDKs, and common libraries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges and optimize application performance.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and applying software engineering principles and best practices.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
- Familiarity with AWS managed and serverless technologies is a plus.
