Base Salary

$108k - $205k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software packaged into air traffic management products.
  • Develop, integrate, test, and validate software components in a Unix/Linux environment.
  • Use C/C++ across the complete software development lifecycle.
  • Maintain documentation and work instructions supporting high-maturity software engineering standards and processes.
  • Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and story pointing.
  • Collaborate with engineering team members, program management, and external stakeholders to solve complex system issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience.
  • Experience developing, integrating, testing, and validating software components in a Unix/Linux environment.
  • Experience with the complete software development lifecycle using C/C++.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Preferred experience includes Bash or Python scripting, Agile methodologies, Git, software testing or source-code debugging, and containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
