Responsibilities
- Generate software design artifacts and implement Java-based software changes.
- Support design reviews, code reviews, software testing, and resolution of testing issues.
- Develop and implement mathematical algorithms and participate in the presentation of developed designs.
- Participate in agile planning and execution using established program processes.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Integration and Test, Deployment, and Warfighter Support teams to support mission success.
Requirements
- Generally requires 1+ years of related experience and may include post-secondary education or training in a related discipline.
- Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
- Experience with full life-cycle development, Java or alternative object-oriented development, Unix/Linux, mathematical algorithm development, software implementation, systems integration, and DevSecOps.
- Ability to analyze system behavior issues, identify root causes, recommend solutions, work independently, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Preferred qualifications include Java application development in Unix/Linux and DevSecOps environments, agile development processes, structured integrated-team development, automated unit testing, requirements verification, and MATLAB or Python algorithm development.
- Security+ certification is a plus but is not required.
