Base Salary
$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of proprietary Generative AI tools, private LLMs, the private GenAI platform, and GenAI use cases.
- Coordinate with security, UI/UX, data integration, architecture, and business teams to integrate and refine AI solutions.
- Develop and maintain scalable AI pipelines using AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, Lambda, EC2, and S3.
- Build backend services and microservices with Python, FastAPI, and Node.js.
- Develop web and mobile frontend applications using React.js and React Native.
- Build chatbots and business-focused GenAI tools that are robust, scalable, secure, and user-friendly.
- Apply Claude LLM, Stable Diffusion, keyword vector search, retrieval augmented generation, and GDPR-compliant data handling.
- Implement AI model training, testing, and validation practices and stay current with generative AI advancements.
- Execute product backlog work, resolve issues, and support development and deployment practices.
- Assist QA by defining and testing user cases and coordinate across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or equivalent proven experience.
- 8+ years of software development experience, including experience with generative models.
- 3+ years of backend software development experience using Python.
- 5+ years of experience developing APIs with JSON, HTTP, Postman, and/or curl.
- 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one frontend JavaScript framework such as React or Vue.
- Familiarity with WebSockets is required.
- Strong proficiency with AWS services, generative AI models, keyword vector search, RAG, and GDPR-compliant data handling.
- Experience with LangChain, the Strands SDK, frontend JavaScript frameworks, SQL and NoSQL databases, Git, Jenkins, and Postman.
- Experience with MySQL and CloudantDB or MongoDB; Redis experience is a plus.
- Experience with Docker and AWS ECS, EKS, or Fargate is desired but not required.
- Exposure to Terraform, GitHub Actions, and prompt engineering is desired.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, coordination, and mentoring skills.
