Responsibilities
- Improve performance across high-throughput real-time serving systems and offline data pipelines.
- Lead the software development lifecycle from design and architecture through implementation, testing, and global production deployment.
- Diagnose technical issues and system bottlenecks while ensuring reliability and data integrity.
- Develop scalable advertising solutions that support privacy standards, advertiser ROI, and platform growth.
- Use backend technologies and distributed data tools including C++, Flume, F1, and GoogleSQL for low-latency systems, analysis, and storage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, or Go.
- At least 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- At least 2 years of backend development experience.
- Experience with at least two areas including web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, networking, large software systems, or security software development.
- Preferred: full-stack development experience with backend codebases and frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS.
- Preferred: experience with machine learning model coding languages such as Python.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
