Responsibilities
- Guide the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise AI-enabled applications, tools, agents, automations, and integrations.
- Provide technical direction, architecture, implementation guidance, and vision for complex AI solutions.
- Lead technical work, coordinate projects, and define reusable architecture patterns, technical standards, and engineering governance.
- Develop and support Python-based applications, APIs, integrations, service-based solutions, and LLM-enabled workflows.
- Mentor AI Engineers and Senior AI Engineers and improve engineering practices.
- Partner with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to scale maintainable, business-focused AI capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, AI engineering, application development, platform engineering, automation, integration development, or related technical solution delivery.
- Experience leading technical work, guiding engineers, coordinating projects, or providing architecture and technical direction.
- Strong Python background or strong technical understanding of Python-based development.
- Experience with APIs, JSON payloads, integrations, application development, and service-based solutions.
- Experience with AI-enabled applications, LLM-based solutions, chatbots, RAG solutions, agents, automations, or model-connected workflows.
- Experience applying Agile methodology in technical delivery environments.
- Ability to create technical vision, architecture, and implementation direction for complex solutions.
- Strong communication skills, advanced English communication skills, and ability to partner with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
- Ability to mentor engineers and improve engineering practices.
- Preferred experience includes enterprise AI or GenAI initiatives, MCP development, agentic AI patterns, Databricks, Databricks Genie Spaces, model-serving endpoints, managed AI services, prompt engineering, orchestration, AI workflow automation, ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Codex, Azure, AWS, GCP, architecture standards, engineering governance, and technical or project leadership.
