Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and iterate identity, network, and runtime-level security controls for agentic AI, including sandboxing and policy enforcement.
- Build and ship production-grade security tooling that hardens safety monitoring pipelines across agent executions at scale.
- Develop comprehensive threat models and partner with Agent Infrastructure to fortify platforms supporting agentic systems.
- Collaborate with product, research, safety, infrastructure, and security teams to balance security, performance, and usability.
- Shape the Agent Security roadmap, publish internal and external best practices, and help define industry standards for securing autonomous AI.
Requirements
- Strong software-engineering skills in Python or at least one systems language such as Go, Rust, C, or C++.
- Track record of shipping and operating secure, high-reliability services.
- Deep expertise in modern isolation techniques, including container security, kernel-level hardening, and other isolation methods.
- Hands-on network security experience implementing identity-based controls, policy enforcement, and secure large-scale telemetry pipelines.
- Cloud security depth with at least one major provider—Azure, AWS, or GCP—including identity federation, workload IAM, and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
- Clear, concise communication across engineering, research, and leadership audiences, with the ability to influence roadmaps and drive consensus.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguity, move quickly without sacrificing rigor, and take ownership.
- Familiarity with AI/ML security challenges is valuable but not required.
