Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AMD’s AI compilers and runtime.
- Research and implement methods to improve solution performance.
- Optimize current systems and investigate more efficient approaches.
- Monitor software, hardware, ML algorithm, and architecture trends.
- Build technical relationships with peers and partners.
- Collaborate with AMD architecture specialists to improve future products.
Requirements
- 6+ years of industry experience with a strong object-oriented programming background; C/C++ is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNXRuntime, TVM, and MLIR.
- Familiarity with ML operations including GEMM and CONV.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, multithreaded programming, object-oriented design, and software engineering principles.
- Understanding of performance implications across compute, memory, communication, hardware, and software configurations for AI acceleration.
- Experience with debuggers, source code control systems such as GitHub, and profilers.
- Strong coding quality, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
