Responsibilities
- Build the software for the Confluent Cloud network data plane platform.
- Design, develop, and operationalize high-performance, scalable systems.
- Independently drive execution of software projects with a focus on quality.
- Leverage open-source software to deliver business impact.
- Troubleshoot issues and improve operations for a complex technical stack.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Math, or a related field with a graduation date between December 2023 - January 2026.
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development.
- Experience building and operating large-scale systems.
- Solid understanding of systems-level concepts (disk, network, operating systems).
- Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in teams.
- Proficiency in C++, Go, Python, or other statically typed languages.
- Experience/knowledge with public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
