Base Salary
$69k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance software for space-domain ground systems and real-time mission capabilities.
- Modernize legacy applications into microservice-based architectures.
- Write source code for new applications and generate or enhance code samples for existing applications.
- Architect mission-focused capabilities that improve performance, resilience, and operational speed.
- Develop solutions to complex problems collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Acquire client requirements and optimize workflows through automation when applicable.
- Perform software testing and maintenance using automated testing tools when applicable.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience using programming languages including Java, Python, Rust, or Go.
- Experience transitioning legacy applications to a modernized microservice-based architecture.
- Experience writing source code for new applications or enhancing existing applications.
- Experience creating solutions to complex problems in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Applicants must complete Booz Allen’s required skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold.
- Preferred qualifications include Agile experience, Linux-based systems, containers, orchestration tools, cloud providers, C#, C, C++, JavaScript, React, Node.js, automated testing, and a master’s degree.
