Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and architect scalable enterprise-grade backend solutions.
- Build software services and cloud-based distributed systems for critical Apple applications.
- Implement APIs and web application ecosystems using technologies such as REST, RPC, and GraphQL.
- Develop reliable, secure, testable, maintainable, and extensible backend code.
- Design database schemas and data access solutions across relational and NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate with business leaders, cross-functional teams, and technical partners to deliver solutions on schedule.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing scalable enterprise-grade solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, architecture, design, and development.
- Experience implementing cloud-based distributed systems and APIs.
- Experience with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, software design patterns, and backend engineering practices.
- Experience with distributed systems, concurrent programming, web applications, API platforms, low-latency applications, caching, database schema design, and data access technologies.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD tooling, containerized applications, Kubernetes cloud environments, Java web frameworks, unit testing frameworks, tooling languages, and distributed orchestration or computing systems.
- Preferred familiarity with JVM internals, networking concepts and protocols, and security concepts.
