Responsibilities
- Support Sales in developing and progressing customer opportunities from a technical perspective.
- Lead technical discovery and translate customer and commercial requirements into technical requirements and solution designs.
- Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to technical and business audiences.
- Support technical proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and solution documentation.
- Identify technical dependencies, risks, and implementation requirements.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Delivery, Program Management, and other specialists during pre-sales.
- Ensure a clear technical handover from pre-sales to implementation.
- Provide customer and market feedback to internal teams.
- Troubleshoot application and network layers and use scripting or programming for API testing and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions engineering, technical consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong technical discovery, problem-solving, customer-focus, commercial-awareness, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience with SaaS platforms, technical pre-sales, solution design, and customer platform integrations.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, HTTPS/HTTP, TLS/mTLS, certificates, authentication, and SaaS security concepts.
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, API authentication and authorization, and API documentation.
- Basic AWS knowledge, including cloud architectures, network connectivity, and encryption in transit.
- Ability to create and present solution architecture and integration diagrams.
- Ability to manage multiple customer opportunities in parallel.
- Familiarity with Postman and cURL is preferred.
- Relevant AWS, networking, cloud, or security certifications are preferred.
