Responsibilities
- Contribute to the core React Native codebase supporting the Sportsbook application.
- Improve app launch performance and broader mobile application performance.
- Build and maintain frameworks, tooling, and shared components for feature teams.
- Collaborate across engineering domains to solve cross-cutting technical challenges.
- Implement pragmatic solutions balancing performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, engineering community initiatives, and continuous improvement.
- Join the on-call rotation and share out-of-hours incident response duties.
- Own tasks and deliver features from implementation through release with support from senior team members.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience building mobile applications.
- Strong practical experience with React Native or React.
- Interest in performance optimization, tooling, frameworks, and application features.
- Familiarity with mobile development best practices and testing approaches.
- Native Android development with Kotlin or Java, or iOS development with Swift, is a plus.
- Exposure to Agile development and collaborative team environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to evaluate technical trade-offs with guidance.
