Base Salary
$118k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support software development on agile teams integrating and implementing solutions onto platforms.
- Develop high-fidelity simulation, environment software, and toolsets for rapid development, testing, and deployment.
- Use analytical and engineering skills to resolve problems, improve weapon-system capabilities, and improve engineering processes and tools.
- Conduct engineering analysis and document engineering practices for replication, scaling, and continuous improvement.
- Work with program stakeholders and subject matter experts across operational analysis, software engineering, mission systems hardware, and flight simulation.
- Provide technical leadership to junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience with one or more of Ada, C, C++, C#, Java, and Python.
- At least 3 years of experience working on projects using software development methodologies.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field is preferred, including computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics.
- 5 or more years of higher education and/or related work experience is preferred.
- Experience with embedded real-time software, models and simulation, aircraft Operational Flight Program software, RTOS, OOAD, Agile software development, open architecture constructs, software architecture tools, configuration-management and collaboration tools, or technical-team leadership is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds and skill levels is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance is required; an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance is required post-start, and U.S. citizenship is required for the clearance.
