Responsibilities
- Design and architect solutions for supercomputing workloads, including scheduler stacks, parallel computing frameworks, and performance-profiling tools.
- Evaluate emerging HPC and AI technologies and integrate relevant innovations into product roadmaps.
- Propose architectures that improve performance, scalability, and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, and R&D teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions and refine architectures based on deployment feedback.
- Advise the organization on complex architectural decisions and communicate technical concepts to executives and engineering teams.
- Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to development teams and document architectural decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HPC environments and a deep understanding of supercomputing compute stacks.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling algorithms, parallel computing paradigms, and performance-profiling techniques.
- Familiarity with MPI, OpenMP, CUDA, container orchestration, and workload managers.
- Experience designing and implementing complex software architectures at scale.
- Previous experience in an architect or senior technical role with cross-functional responsibilities.
- A track record of collaboration between customer-facing teams and technical R&D, including refining architecture through customer feedback.
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, collaboration, continuous-learning, and technology-exploration skills.
