Base Salary
$286k - $392k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize technical vision and long-term cloud infrastructure strategy.
- Design and manage scalable cloud connectivity, automated landing zones, cloud platforms, API standards, and governance capabilities.
- Drive modernization from monolithic systems to microservice architectures and event-driven platforms.
- Ensure technical design quality, performance, scalability, operability, reliability, and production support.
- Lead cross-divisional and cross-domain architectural initiatives, strategic technical programs, and engineering best-practice adoption.
- Balance hands-on technical contribution with mentoring, coaching, and professional development for engineers and technical leaders.
- Lead responsible adoption of AI and automation capabilities to improve cloud platform and engineering workflow efficiency.
- Influence portfolio-level technology decisions, organization design, talent strategy, engineering OKRs, and executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field is required.
- At least 9 years of software engineering experience is required.
- At least 6 years of cloud engineering experience is required.
- Preferred experience includes 12+ years of coding with Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- Preferred experience includes 8+ years with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI.
- Preferred experience includes 8+ years with CI/CD orchestration, infrastructure-as-code frameworks, and policy-as-code governance.
- Experience with Kubernetes, serverless and high-scale distributed systems is preferred.
- Experience with cloud networking, security, identity integrations, production troubleshooting, risk management, and high-severity incident environments is preferred.
- Experience leading multi-team engineering organizations, strategic programs, architectural reviews, coding standards, and technical professional development is preferred.
- An active certification related to cloud infrastructure management or security is preferred.
- A master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred.
