Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction of ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
- Define development guidelines, review scripts and configurations, and enforce coding standards and quality gates.
- Develop and customize ServiceNow solutions using platform scripting, workflows, catalog features, and integrations.
- Ensure platform performance, security, scalability, stability, and upgrade readiness.
- Troubleshoot advanced technical issues, performance bottlenecks, production incidents, and critical escalations.
- Support data loads, transformations, validation strategies, and change, incident, and defect triage.
- Lead customer technical discussions, design workshops, solution walkthroughs, and expectation setting.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and system designs.
- Provide go-live, hyper-care, and delivery support aligned with scope, quality, and performance benchmarks.
- Guide team members and collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, and Product Owners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is mandatory.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is mandatory.
- Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Operations Management (ITOM) certification is listed as an additional qualification.
- Experience with enterprise-scale ServiceNow programs and ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, and Request capabilities.
- Deep JavaScript, Glide API, server-side scripting, and client-side scripting knowledge.
- Experience integrating systems using REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
- Experience with performance tuning, ACLs, security best practices, and scalable ServiceNow solutions.
